Director of Vinahe Company Limited Nguyen Hoang Dat said: In the process of processing and producing cashew nuts, we focus on applying S&T, considering it the “key” to the company’s success. Mr. Dat emphasized: Modern machinery meets export orders as well as orders at supermarket systems. Applying automatic machinery standardizes the process, thereby meeting the criteria for thickness, durability of packaging, more beautiful packaging, quick packaging, and longer product preservation. In particular, the product joints look sophisticated and professional.

Applying science and technology to Vinahe Company Limited is not simply a technical solution but also a “lever” to promote the development of the cashew industry in the domestic and international markets.

Previously, when producing and processing cashew nuts using traditional manual methods, the company had to use a lot of labor. Now, with a modern machinery system, the unit helps reduce labor and increase productivity. Each stage in the production line has modern machinery such as dryers, ovens, convection ovens, bagging machines, canning machines, metal detectors, etc. In particular, the company has 2 cashew nut dryers with a drying capacity of more than 500 kg/day/machine. With this machine, workers only need to set the operating time and the machine will absorb all the moisture in the cashew nuts, helping to preserve them longer without using preservatives.

Chairman of the Trade Union of Vinahe Company Limited Dang Thanh Hoa shared: Applying science and technology helps the production process to be more convenient, increase output, meet orders, and at the same time save resources for the business. Our company must further improve, apply more modern processes in the technology era.

When the cashew nuts are dried, they will be cooled, seasoned, and then put into the oven to dry. Each type of product with different spices will have a different baking time to ensure the quality of the cashew nuts. Applying modern machinery in production and processing not only shortens the time to make products but also reduces labor. In particular, the finished products are synchronous and of high quality compared to manual production.

Facing increasingly strict market requirements and production pressure, Vinahe Company Limited has solved difficult problems related to the environment, labor, and quality control of cashew products thanks to mechanization and automation in production and processing. Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung, Head of the company’s production department, shared: During the production process, machines are more precise. Dryers ensure crispness and preserve products for longer. In particular, machines are better than humans in that they can operate continuously day and night.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Dat added: In 2021, the company’s products were ranked 4-star OCOP. Currently, the company’s products are distributed in large supermarket centers and systems such as: Co.opmart, Bach Hoa Xanh, and are also exported to Australia and China. In the coming time, the company will continue to prioritize resources to invest in machinery to improve productivity, meeting market demand. We hope to continue to receive support from departments and branches to standardize processes and protect production lines.
